There are many benefits to knitting and crocheting. Once you get beyond the initial learning curve, these activities can lower heart rate and blood pressure and reduce harmful blood levels of the stress hormones in the body! But unlike other activities this session will result in you creating something useful for your home, a friend or the local community. Knitting groups across Manchester have helped others by creating hats and scarfs for those in need so you get the benefit of engaging in a group activity while helping other people too!
Our group is friendly and supportive with craft leaders directing the sessions on hard to give advice and encouragement. Come and meet new people in the community while learning a new skill that you can also continue in the home.
